Drift Racing Β· Last updated: September 22, 2026

Short version: Drift Racing has no server and no user accounts. Your settings, lap times, cars and progress are saved in local app storage on your own device β€” we never see them and they are never uploaded. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google AdMob collects in order to show ads, described in section 5.

1. Who we are

Drift Racing is a single-player arcade racing game for Android, published by an independent developer. Contact: mzeshankhokhar@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect ourselves

None. The game has no backend server, no sign-up and no login. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location, and it does not send your gameplay anywhere. There is no analytics or crash-reporting SDK in the app.

3. What is stored on your device

The game saves the following in local app storage, so your progress survives closing the game. None of it is personal information, and none of it is transmitted:

  • Which cars you own and the colour you painted each one
  • Your chosen car and track, lap count, number of opponents and difficulty
  • Your control settings: steering method, tilt angle and tilt calibration, gearbox and camera preferences, volume and graphics quality
  • Your best lap time for each track layout, and counts of races run, won and finished on the podium
  • How many rewarded ads you have watched towards unlocking a car, and how many races you have finished since the last full-screen ad

4. Permissions the app requests

  • Internet access β€” used only to fetch and display ads. The game itself is fully playable offline.
  • Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) β€” declared by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, as described below.
  • Motion sensors β€” if you choose tilt steering, the game reads the device's accelerometer or gravity sensor to know how far you are leaning the phone. These readings are used to steer the car in the moment and are never recorded, stored or transmitted.

5. Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob: full-screen ads between races, and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch in the Garage to unlock a car. To serve and measure those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the following and shares it with Google:

  • Your device's advertising identifier
  • Technical information about your device and the app β€” device model, operating system version, app version, screen size and language
  • A coarse, approximate region derived from your IP address, used to apply the right local advertising rules

We do not receive this data ourselves and cannot identify you from it. How Google uses it is described in β€œHow Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”.

6. Third-party services

Google AdMob is the only third-party service in the app. Google's privacy policy Β· AdMob and privacy.

7. Data retention

Because we store nothing, there is nothing for us to retain. Everything the game saves lives on your device for as long as the game is installed. Google's retention of advertising data is governed by Google's own policies.

8. Data security

Your saved game data never leaves your device, so it is protected by your device's own security and by Android's per-app storage isolation. Ad requests are sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.

9. Your rights & choices

  • Control the advertising ID. Open Settings β†’ Google β†’ Ads on your device to reset it, or to delete it entirely and stop apps using it to personalise ads.
  • Play without ads loading. Turn off your network connection β€” the game is fully playable offline.
  • Delete everything. Clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the game, removes all saved data permanently.

10. California privacy rights

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, because we do not collect any. Advertising data handled by Google is covered by Google's own CCPA disclosures, and you can limit it using the advertising ID controls in section 9.

11. International transfers

We transfer nothing, as we collect nothing. Google may process advertising data on servers outside your country, under its own safeguards.

12. Purchases

Drift Racing has no in-app purchases and does not handle payments. Cars are unlocked by racing or by choosing to watch a rewarded ad. No payment or billing information is ever requested or processed.

13. Children's privacy

Drift Racing is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will act on it.

14. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
